Get Into…Culture (Day Two)

After breakfast in the hostel, we went to the bar loco again. We had some more ice breakers which help us to feel comfortable and get to know people more.  Our task today was to present our country in a short 20 minute presentation.  This was a great way to get all our questions answered.  There was song and dance and food tasting, which was the best part! All three countries took it in turn to teach others about their traditions and their cultural ways.  

Croatia has a beautiful coast line which we all want to visit in the future, it looks amazing.

UK has many famous faces, lots of slang Geordie terms making our conversations often difficult to understand.

Norway has a great history including the Vikings

Later, we went to the Great North Museum, were we had a scavenger hunt, and went to the planetarium.  So far it has been a great day! At the planetarium I think most of us learned that we should go to sleep earlier, hehe…  We also got to see a bit more of the city, and we all think it is great that we switch locations often. We learned about each other’s countries and cultures, and I think we all got to know each other a little bit better. Once again, so far it has been a great day.   Back to Blog
