Thursday Juniors (8-13)
Every Thursday Nicola delivers some issue based or learning sessions, where your junior aged children can gain a certificate or accreditation.
The juniors decide what subjects they think are important and what they should learn about.
We have looked at nature, socializing, sports and IT. We now hope to move onto do some cooking and Internet safety sessions. Get in touch with Nicola to find out more.

Junior Language sessions (8-13)
Learning a language can be useful and made fun.
Every Wednesday chose between learning Turkish or Italian with our volunteers Chiara and Fatih.
Languages are learnt by using games and activities so it’s fun and memorable.

Junior Reading Group
Come along and try out our reading group. it’s a small & friendly session led by our two volunteers Eve and Chiara. It runs every Wednesday 4.45pm -5.45pm.
We have read wizard of Oz and followed this up with a trip to the theater to see the play. There’s not just reading but arts and crafts and quizzes about the book which you read.
Our book at the moment is Matilda and we hope to see this at the theater too if we are lucky!!

Misc
Inters Group (11-14 years)
This group is a focused group specifically for the ‘inbetween’ age, if you are too old in our junior group are not quite a senior…this is the group for you!
You can do you homework, develop new skills and hang out with like minded people of your own age.
Planned activities included a mural art project, cooking, crafts and games and activities.
The group cook a full meal to sit down and share on the first Monday of the month.

Tuesday Girls Group 12-18 years
Welcome back! Lets makes 2018 a good one, every Tuesday join Nicola & Sarah and take part in some great girls only activities.
From the 23rd Jan we will be taking part in an outdoor boot-camp in Elswick park 6-6.45. Please meet at the club at 5.45pm and wear appropriate clothing. Other activities this month include cooking, crafts and relaxation.

Monday Juniors 8-13 years
Juniors 8-13 years, Mondays are your time to do free play activities. Use the computers, play games, fifa, play-station, pool, crafts etc. Staff will run short games, challenges and activities throughout the sessions.
Mondays are also football days, so watch this space with updates on when football is back up and running.

Tuesday Juniors
Join Sarah & the youth team to work on creating some artistic masterpieces. We are currently working on some personalized bunting to display around the project. Leave your mark and let people know who you are and what you are interested in.

Girls Group
Join Nicola to work on various projects, in the run up to Christmas we will look at wellness, Christmas crafts & fundraising and work with the Young carers project we met over the summer. Followed by free time and mixed session 7.30-8.30pm.
Starting 2018! Girls will attend Bootcamp outdoors in Elswick park, get fit and active and enjoy some fun exercise with the rest of the group. Wrap up warm and wear suitable clothing.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award 13-19 years
Wednesdays and Thursdays are the DofE Award. All who are registered will spend a minimum of one hour working towards their skills section of the award. The last hour of the session will be made up of free time, games, activities and anything else you may ask for. If you are interested in signing up for your award please contact Kenny or another member of the team. New members are always welcome. We plan to run a Bronze, Silver & Gold expeditions in 2018.

Seniors Football
Join Kenny & Fatih for Football for 13-19 years every Tuesday night at St. Johns Turf.
THIS ACTIVITY IS FREE!
We offer a minibus from Northbourne at 5.50pm and you can return with Kenny after football to enjoy the drop in session at Northbourne until 8.30pm.
Alternatively meet us at the Turf at 6pm
